Leaseholders – A Word of Warning!

Leaseholders – A Word of Warning!

You have bought your own flat, so surely you should be able to do what you want with it? Unfortunately, that is not always the case.

Many leases prohibit the use of your property for anything other than a private residence. So, if you are considering letting out your property on short term lets, check your lease terms first and also your mortgage terms, if any. There may also be Local Authority restrictions on the number of days that the property can be let on short term lets.

Read a copy of our Briefing Note ‘Leaseholders – A Word of Warning!‘.
