English Courts remain open for business

The English courts and the lawyers that serve them remain open for business during the coronavirus pandemic, to make sure the justice system continues to operate effectively.

The Courts and Tribunals Judiciary has today (29 April 2020) published Civil Court Guidance to the English Courts. The clear message behind this being that the English Courts remain very much open for business, and are adapting at an accelerated pace to the evolving situation, with a large number of Court hearings now being conducted remotely.

This further confirms the strength of our internationally recognised English legal system.
