Summary of Work:
Nicola advises on all aspects of real estate litigation for commercial and residential clients, encompassing a wide range of property disputes.
In relation to commercial property, Nicola acts on behalf of both landlords and tenants on matters such as breach of contract, forfeiture, trespass, lease renewal, Land Registry adjudication, rent reviews, and insolvency and dilapidations.
In respect of residential property, whether acting for a landlord or a tenant, her work includes possession proceedings, the contentious side of lease extensions and freehold purchases, service-charge disputes, rent arrears, claims relating to beneficial interests, adverse possession, and insolvency issues.
Nicola’s aim is to resolve the issues in the most commercial and cost-effective way for her clients, whether through alternative dispute resolution, negotiation or, if necessary, litigation.
Nicola is a member of the firm’s Pro Bono Group.
Nicola joined Rooks Rider Solicitors in 2001 and became a Senior Associate in 2013
