Congratulations to all the finalists and winners of this year’s FEDESSA and SSA UK awards

Congratulations to all the finalists and winners of this year’s Federation of European Self Storage Associations (FEDESSA) and the Self Storage Association United Kingdom (SSA UK) awards.

The winners of the awards, announced at the Awards Dinner on 7 October 2015 at the European Conference and Trade Show in Amsterdam, are:

• Manager of the Year – Nico Gast, Shurgard
• Charity Initiative of the Year – Storage King
• Outstanding Business Initiative – EasyBox

For the UK Facility of the Year Awards, the category was split into an award for independent operators and a separate award for the major operators. Below are the winners of the UK awards as announced in Birmingham on the 17 September 2015:

• Best Facility UK Independent Operators – Stock N Lock, Worcester
• Best Facility UK Major Operators – Easistore, Maidstone

The winners of the UK awards were then entered into the European award, presented with the other awards at the European Conference & Trade Show. Below is the European winner:

• Best Facility Europe – Shurgard Self Storage, Lundavagen
